The project was to make a weapon. I chose to make a medieval sword. I looked into how they would of been made realistically and decided to make it similar but out of wood. i used two sheets of luan and glued and clamped them together till dry. then cut out the blade including the part that would extend through the handle. i used two wooden blocks on either side and glued and clamped them till dry. then i shaped the handle with some meticulous sanding. finally i painted the whole thing.
