While I originally wanted all the candles to be the same, I was pleased with the end result. I felt the fact that they were mismatched added to the authenticity of the play, making it look as if the character had used any and every light source they came across. All of the candles performed as needed on stage, were easy to turn on and off, and gave the illusion of being wax candles.
