I started by shaping a turtle out of clay. His head fell off but I glued it back on again. I then built a box that I put my turtle in and filled it with a mold mix that dried over night. Then took the mold out of the box and cut it open. My turtle didn't survive the mold process but I did not need him anymore anyway. I then filled the mold with resin, putting the top of the cane in, so that it would attatch itself when it dried. I used a wood stain on the cane stick to make it look more realistic and spray painted my turtle silver.
