For this project we was given free choice on what we wanted to to do. Mary gave us some ideas on what we could do. And crucifix's was one of the of the items listed. So I went and searched some images and I am kind of into the Gothic arts so I choose this for my carving. Getting it traced and carved was easy enough but I ended up adding plaster to it as well to make it more durable. I ran into some trouble there, like the plaster kept wanting to to dry faster than I could apply it. But after I finally got that done I painted it and there we have the finished product :)
